Our beautiful 4-star luxury guesthouse with 9 rooms and 4 loft inspired cottages sits within a 21.6-hectare farm where we cultivate protea flowers and wine grapes.  We are located in the picturesque Devon Valley, on the outskirts of Stellenbosch.

With expansive views across vineyards and valley to the Simonsberg, Stellenbosch and the Helderberg Mountains, Somerset West and False Bay, Sugarbird Manor is the perfect base to relax in total peace and quiet.

Enjoy a dip in our infinity-edge pool, take stroll through the vineyards, take a moutain bike journey along one of the trails starting just steps from our door,  a guided wine tour of the winelands or tee-off at any of the 3 nearby golf courses.

Whether you are looking for a long holiday, a short break, a company retreat or a conference or wedding venue, our staff will make sure that your experience is as special and thoroughly enjoyable as you could possibly hope for.

We source from local area farmers or right from our own gardens and hen house.  Our delicious menu changes daily and might include eggs benedict, brioche French toast, corn fritters, home-made muesli, freshly made bread, artisanal cheeses, seasonal fruits, homemade jams
